Aaron and Stephanie are two of my most favorite people. I was so excited when they asked me to do their family photos. We spent a little time last weekend at Alsop park and with a little bit of lolly pop bribery for Aidan- we took some amazing pics.

Hawkins Family

Last weekend I had the opportunity to photograph the Hawkins family- they were great!! We went down to the courtyard at the Central Arkansas Library- it was a great place to take some photos- I'll definitely be going back there.

Playing Dress Up!!

Weekend before last my friend Allison was gracious enough to be me and Stacy's model. Stacy did a great job on her make up and we had a blast!!

Baby Bennings

Lance and Sarah are the cutest couple ever and I can't wait to meet their little man who will be here in January!! We had a great time taking photos a couple of weekends ago- the sun had never been so bright I don't think- but we worked it out and got some great shots!

The Newmans

Now that the super hot weather is over I have been so excited to get back to practicing my portrait photography. The Newman's were a great family to work with. We did the entire shoot in about an hour and then the kids got to head to the playground- fun, fun!

I hope they enjoy them!!

Seattle 2010

I can't believe how long it's been since I've posted!! Well I have been busy, busy. I had an opportunity last week to visit Seattle and it was great!! The city was amazing, the food was awesome and the sun even came out for a little while when we were there!! Here's just a few of the pics.

Sweet Lexi

This weekend has pretty much been a very lazy weekend for me. BUT- I did manage to finally post a couple of pics I took of my friend Jennifer's niece- Lexi. She usually gets pretty shy when I drag out the camera but maybe she's finally growing out of that. She's so pretty- who wouldn't want to take a picture of her sweet face!!

"Good" to Go!

When Brooke and Max asked me to do their engagement photos I admit it was a little bit of an experiment. They were a wee bit shy in front of the camera and I was a wee bit shy behind the camera- seeing as it was my first real "couples" shoot. But we all worked through it together and I think the pictures turned out great. I often tell Brooke that her and Max are my inspiration couple. They have a great story to tell and when you are in a room with them you can just feel the love they have for each other.

June Bugs!!

When I was young my parents had some dear, dear friends who nicknamed me "June Bug" (they still call me that to this day). I've embraced the name and decided to pass it along to my children's photography.

Photographing children takes patience, time and a LOT of memory card space- but it's fun- you never know what they'll do!!

This weekend

I was so hoping to get out and shoot this weekend- instead I had to be responsible and ended up working 16 hours! Oh well... that's doesn't happen that often and let's face it- anyone who's busy at work right now is blessed.

So... since I didn't get to shoot this weekend I will just post some more of my past work. Let's see.......I'm not a big fan of motorcycles- in fact- I can probably say with confidence that I'm terrified of them. But I am a big fan of my friend Bobby and took these pictures of his bike last fall. I have to say I was very pleased with how they turned out considering how hard it is to shoot something that reflects everything!

Hello, World!!

This is it- my long awaited first post! For months now friends and family have been asking me where they can view my photographs and TADAAA!!.... better late than never.

I have a feeling it's going to take some getting used to this whole writing thing so for now I'll just post a few of my photos and be on my way.
